Our purpose is to help patients Whiten and Brighten their teeth using the most current technology. Contrary to popular advertisements, the truth is that over the counter products such as whitening toothpaste, strips or gels only have a minor ability to whiten teeth. Our whitening system is stronger and more precise as compared to OTC products. 

 

We offer In Office bleaching: with the application of whitening gel and activation light technology. The gel is pH balanced and compatible with tooth enamel, it is precisely formulated to respond to the wavelength of the activation light, cost is $400 first application for both arches. After which point, for return customers, the total is $300 for both arches. 

 

Tooth whitening, also called Bleaching: is a process that removes staining from teeth, keep in mind each persons teeth whiten at their own pace. The first session of "In Office" treatment usually brightens the teeth by at least one shade, additional treatments are available depending on patients sensitivity and color preference.

 

Understanding Bleaching:

Teeth are made of Enamel and Enamel has pores. Over a period of time, those pores are susceptible to stains from coffee, tobacco, tea, wine and other pigmented foods and just time. The whitening process opens the pores and eases out the stains. Because the pores are opened there is a possibility of tooth sensitivity after bleaching, each patient is different and sensitivity is individual. The pores do naturally close over time, but sometimes not immediately, with this in mind we do apply a special desensitizer for our patients comfort.

Not everyone is a good candidate for dental whitening due to certain oral health complications. These conditions include tooth sensitivity, gum infections, decay, spotted or discolored enamel, caries, or different types of dental work like bridges or crowns. Patients may have other dental health problems and issues at presentation. If the patient has any other dental issue, Pegasus Renew has no liability or responsibility to review all dental records. We are not a full service dental office. We will be happy to refer the patient to a convenient Dentist for a full Dental Health Consultation, X-Rays and Exam if necessary.

 

The patient's signature on the Pegasus Renew contract, indicates the patient agrees to proceed with tooth whitening and further indicates that the patient understands that the office of Pegasus Renew has a specific focus and is limited to Whitening/Bleaching Teeth only. Please keep in mind, if a patient's dental health does not support bleaching then Pegasus Renew reserves the right to deny treatment for the reason of protecting patients overall dental health.

 

Unfortunately, dental insurance does not cover the cost associated with elective, cosmetic treatment such as whitening. Please be aware that walk-in appointments are available and will be accommodated if possible.
